A STORYTELLER AT HEART, I seek out simple stories that naturally evolve out of everyday life. I often use a documentary approach to my storytelling; however, I also enjoy creating environmental portraits, which not only capture my subject, but also uses their surroundings to tell a truer story. My goal is to create a photo story which highlights my subject’s heart and soul…exposing who they are and who they were created to be. You’ll see my best work come out in cultural and documentary storytelling; environmental portraiture; and fine art portraits.

I aim to create a masterpiece of imagery that will remain true and timeless; something to pass on to the next generation. THE INVESTMENT lasts for a lifetime, and the stories never end. There will always be a story to tell, share, and retell again throughout time. It’s the story that will spark a memory; carry on a legacy; or teach a lesson of perseverance, hard work, and hope.

Your story matters. As a person who has a strong faith in God, I believe we are all uniquely created to reflect light. Jesus is the light that shines out in the darkness. I also believe that the shadows of life help us to grow, and life’s highlights stand out all the brighter and more beautifully against these shadows. Works of art evolve over time; they weather the storms; they bask in the sun. Each person is a beautiful work in progress and each day a thread in a tapestry intricately and carefully woven. Everyone was created by God for a purpose only they can fulfill and their story matters.
